A REAR MIRROR FOR DIVERS

The idea of a diving rear mirror to check what’s behind us is not new such that, in 1962, the American Aqua-Craft presented the "Buddy Mirror" in its catalogue. It was a curved mirror installed in a robust case, fixed with a nylon band on the wrist, able to allow a 360° vision to be able to check the buddy position, or if there was something entangled in the valves or even if during our ascent, boat was right below head. Not bad as idea to provide for the limited side and upper mask vision; perhaps, it didn’t result to be so efficient since it remained only a far memory.
